HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE!!
Our little sweetheart turned 1 years old on May 28th:) We celebrated in Ottawa at my parents place with some friends and family...we had dinner and yummy homemade cupcakes. Thanks to everyone who came...I'm sad I didn't get pictures of you all...Brock, Christina, Ava and Hunter...Blake, Catherine, Benson and Abi. It was a really nice time. Grace had her very own butterfly shaped cupcake (that her Auntie Robyn made for her). She wasn't too sure about her hands getting so dirty, but ended up eating quite a bit of it:) *A few days after her birthday Grace took her first steps!! Her record is like 7 or 8 steps, she still doesn't think much of walking, but if we make her she has a big smile on her face. Mommy and Daddy bought her a sweet new stroller walker that she can put her babies in:) Hopefully she'll be inspired to walk more than crawl. But we don't really mind. She also has mastered going up and down the stairs!! No more gates woohooo! Grace is loving her Papa and Nana....she barely played strange with them which is awesome...extra hands are always appreciated. Here are some pics of the birthday girl on her special day:
We officially have a 1 year old and a 3 1/2 year old!
My little girl
TWINS! She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger...they are so cute together:)
Nana and Papa just think the world of their 3 grandchildren...they made it a very special day for Gracie.
I'm sad we didn't get a picture of Grace with her Aunt Robyn and Uncle Jeff...we were too busy getting pics of their little cutie Tessa with Grace. Tessa is my brother's daughter and is 5 months older than Grace. They are so cute together!
Auntie Robyn made a bunch of these delicious carrot cupcakes that were sooo pretty...THANK YOU!
She did not know what was going on with everyone singing...and the flashy sparkler:)
She was sooo tired at this point, but really enjoyed her butterfly cupcake ( i need to get that recipe from you Robyn please)

Haha, Emma has that same dress! Happy Birthday Grace!
