Goodbye Summer...

This Summer was pretty awesome and I can happily say I'm ready for the Fall.  We made so many sweet memories this Summer just being together so much up at the Lake.  We bought 2 boats this Summer, played hard on them and sold both this Summer!  (making a sweet profit off each one) It was so nice to have Matt home instead of working a second job: construction...for 2 of his 4 days off...we will for sure start up the boat buying/selling for next Summer!  We are loving our new truck!  We packed it up for the first time and went up to Tie Lake for the September long weekend, Ammo was happy in his bed and we were happy Ammo was outside of the truck:)  We spent the weekend with Rob/Tammy, Barb/Ben and kids plus Mum...it was a nice lazy weekend especially for me...i jumped off the dock for a swim and found out the hard way that the water was FREEZING, and decided at that point that this was going to be the first weekend that I do nothing behind the boat!  I just chilled, napped and sat in the shade...it was like the craziness of the whole Summer every 4 days of packing/unpacking/laundry and groceries had all caught up to me.  It was a muchly needed lazy weekend.  We did however on the last day have to help pack/clean up everything at the Lake to end the Summer which was fine...its the least we could do for Matt's parents for having such a paradise for us to play at for free!

Pretty girl all ready for Church at the Lake...she's been going through a phase of biting on her toy soothers, she sucks for about 10 seconds, but mostly just bites on it...I think its cute seeing her with it, but am so glad she doesn't use one anymore.

While at the Lake we decided to drive out to this spot where the river flows through this drain/tunnel...anyways this is where the Salmon come to lay there eggs and do their thing...usually around this time of year there are tons of them...we were a bit early cuz there was only 5 that we saw...nevertheless we got a family picture and plan to make this spot a yearly tradition:)

Grace happy to be home and playing in her sandbox...except I forgot to put the cover on it...so we had sticky wet sand everywhere thanks to Grace getting in and out all day!

My Darling little Parks is obsessed with bugs right now...as soon as we got home...he wanted to be outside catching grasshoppers and ladybugs....

endless fun for this guys!

Having fun eating pudding

little stinker!
