I guess being a mother to a son, you have to not worry too much at things like this...and just hope he holds on tight:)

A Father-Son teaching moment...
This must be a boy thing
Success!
Parks is excited to start gardening with you soon Nana:)
Our handsome Big Boy lost about 10 pounds and is feeling much better these days.
This is the only way Parks will play on his run bike...
This is the reason daddy pushes Parks around on the run bike:) I think its safe to say this baby is not going to be petite...my Dr. says, 'You are just one of those woman that make big babies'
Parks has been sick with some sort of virus now for a little over 2 weeks...his poor little nose is so chapped from us constantly having to wipe it, he does NOT sleep well at night, he is grumpy during the days and mommy has almost lost her mind:) He's lucky he's so stinkin cute!
He now has a popcorn and movie addiction...again so cute!
He'll probably be upset that I posted this, but I just have to say Matt is the most amazing husband in the world. He works so hard for our family and is always so wonderful at home. He's always up for playing with Parks, and doing whatever needs doing. Words just cant explain. I love him so much. Thank you sweetie for keeping me sane:)

7 months TODAY!
This pregnancy has been wonderful! Just like my first time around except I am way more emotional...could be because it's a girl OR the fact that I moved across the country away from my family?? Either way its an easy symptom to deal with for the most part. I just need to have a good cry every now and again...the only other bad thing I have experienced this time around was a 'Rhino Rocket', and that my friends is NOT fun, I have great blood flow right now and mixed with the dry air here in 'wonderful' Alberta...I got the mother of all nosebleeds...last month it was so bad that it wouldn't stop, so off to Urgent Care I go to get a Rhino Rocket put in for 24 hours. That meant sleeping with this horrible thing shoved all the way through my nose and into my brain (well that's what it felt like anyways:) yah.
I wont complain anymore because I am one of the lucky woman that dont get nauseous when pregnant. It must be sooo horrible, I couldn't imagine running after my 2 year old and feeling sick all the time. My heart goes out to you all. Thankfully when pregnancy is all said and done, we get the greatest reward making everything well worth it! I can't wait to meet my little girl:)

Homemade Baby Wrap
I'm so super excited about this wrap! My girlfriend in Ottawa just had her second child and says it is the best thing EVER for bringing baby everywhere and anywhere. PLUS it is homemade and CHEAP to do! I am a huge sling lover, but i always found it always slips and doesn't stay tight when you move around...i'll still use it, but it's nice to have options:)
I went to Fabricland and split on fabric with my sister-in-law Robyn. ( Because the fabric is sold too wide, you just cut straight down the middle and you get two wraps!).
Here is Robyn with her baby girl all snugly.
It takes a few practice runs before you figure it out but it's awesome!
I like the website MakeBabyStuff.com scroll down a bit and click on 'Make baby wrap', this girl explains everything perfectly. Than just go to utube and look up baby wraps and it'll give you step by step.
*my next endeavor is to make some cute headbands with flowers for my little girl...not sure what to do yet:)

Ottawa Christmas in February!
We have been having a blast here in Ottawa, our Christmas was fabulous...Matt and I got a new camera!! and are soooo pumped!:) We met our newest baby niece, Tessa, she is truly so beautiful...its nice to hold her and get some practice before our little one arrives. Parks is so gentle and soft with her too, he thinks "she is sooo cute" and he is always willing to hold her. Matt could only stay out for his 4 days off, so we are missing him alot right now. Luckily him and I got to go on a movie date night to see Avatar...what a wicked movie!! We also roughed it and walked a bit of the canal for a beavertail and literally froze! It was so windy, Parks was not impressed. I extended my trip out here by a week and will be flying home with Parkster on March 2nd...i will almost be 7 months pregnant, that should be interesting:) anyways there will be lots more pics coming...

Pizza Perfection
Christina is visiting from Ottawa with her cute little daughter, Ava for the week and among other things she taught me how to make my own pizza dough! I don't usually venture out on these sort of things because I'm afraid of failure...this pizza was the best pizza I've ever had AND alot healthier! It may have something to do with the fact that I'm 6 months pregnant and in love with food at the present moment, but nevertheless it was delicious!!
I highly recommend it, so here is the recipe for all the pizza lovers:)
Enjoy!
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (not luke warm but not too hot to touch)
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbps olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 tsp white sugar
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. (Do not over stir the yeast, just enough to get it all wet). Let stand until creamy (about 10 mins.)
In large bowl, combine flour, olive oil, salt, white sugar and yeast mixture. Stir well until stiff dough. Place a bit of flour on surface than put the dough on top and kneed until not sticky (keep adding flour to the surface).
Cover dough and let rise until doubled in volume (about 30 mins).
Take dough out onto well floured surface and roll into pizza shape...dress it up and
Bake for 20-30 mins until golden brown.
